Did you know that fresh fruits and vegetables are more   nutritious than frozen or canned, and that frozen are more nutritious   than canned?  Sure you did!  Now, which of the three would you prefer to   feed your family?  Here's an even tougher question - - what if you   weren't able to feed your family neither of the three?    Where would go?  Who would you see?  What would you do?  Now, here is   the toughest question of all - - are you willing to help the mom?s in   Inner City Glendale feed their children?

"I was able to   network with a food broker out of Nogales," Joe Eriquez, head of Heart for   the City, shares, "and we can get a semi full of fresh   produce for only five hundred dollars a week.  We then distribute that   produce to local families for free - - all they have to do is come and   pick it up.  The problem is," he continued, the ever-present look of   helplessness in his eyes, "we need to come up with the five hundred   dollars."

That?s where you come in!!  This produce is a much-needed part   of the Food Bank Joe is working so desperately to establish - - to   establish for the desperate in Inner City Glendale.  He's not asking      much - - if only fifty people will donate $10.00 a week, he will be able   to continue operating his Farmer's Market for the area, and a lot of   Mom's will be able to share with their children what you are able to   share with yours.

To help put this in perspective for you, consider the   following:  All the $10.00 will cost you is two trips to Starbucks a   Week.  What a wonderful way to show the Love of Jesus to your fellow   man, and to teach your children the meaning of the verse, "as ye do unto   the least of these, so do ye unto me." Don't hesitate or delay, make   your commitment today! After all, this is an excellent way to help   stamp out hunger in your own state!
